Southern Tennis Champions Passion. Discipline. Persistence.
This program is designed for players ages 5 to 9 to teach basic tennis skills including stroke technique, court awareness, and keeping score. They will also participate in point and match play against their peers. Players who participate in this program will have the ability to consistently rally – a first step toward tournament preparedness. Our staff is extremely committed to these players for they are the future. These players should be looking to have fun and develop a strong desire as well as a commitment level to improve their skills.
The Future Stars group is the most advanced group in the Young Champions program. The players in this group have advanced their skills of ball control, stroke technique, and footwork to the early stages of rallying. Players in this group are executing serves and playing points on the 60 foot court.
The Young Aces group is our entry level group that focuses on learning skills like ball and racket control, basic stroke technique, footwork, and balance. It is very important for players to develop a strong tennis foundation at the early ages. This group is the perfect start.
